Our Process
At our company, we understand the importance of collaboration in the design process. That's why we begin with an initial consultation site meeting, getting to know our clients, their property, and their vision for their outdoor space. We then work closely with them throughout the design and construction phases to ensure that their vision is realized.
Our projects are typically broken down into the following stages:
Conceptual Design
Based on the initial consultation and site analysis, we develop a conceptual design that outlines the overall vision and design direction for the project. This typically includes an illustrative design masterplan, 3D drawings. and other visual representations of the design.
Design Development
Once the conceptual design has been approved by the client, we work on developing a more detailed design that includes specific materials, details, and elements. This may include detailed drawings, 3D models, and detailed renderings.
Tender and Construction Documents
Once the design has been finalized, we prepare construction documents that provide detailed instructions for the construction of the project. These documents include plans, elevations, construction details, and specifications. During this phase we also assist the client in soliciting bids from contractors and selecting a contractor to implement the design.
Construction Administration
This phase begins once landscape construction commences. As our services during this phase vary from project to project and are tailored to the specific needs of each client. Typically, we oversee the implementation of the design to ensure that the project is being constructed according to the design intent and specifications. This may involve regular attendance at site meetings, documentation and review of construction, and hand selection of plant materials.
